About Tugwell Auction & Realty Company John Tugwell was born in Pitt County, NC. The son of a tobacco farmer, John has been actively involved in the farming & tobacco industries for over 35 years. John and his wife Sharyn are both auctioneers and real estate brokers with the state of North Carolina and are also licensed by the Virginia Auctioneer Board. Along with John & Sharyn, the auction company employs Phil Page, Auctioneer, L.F. Worthington, Auctioneer & Real Estate Broker, Carl Miller, Auctioneer, Kenneth Allen, Auctioneer and Charles Mayo, Auctioneer. Most of Tugwell's employees have been with John over 20 years.Mike Wooten, Real Estate Broker does the clerking throughout the auctions and has been with the auction company over 25 years. Tugwell Auction & Realty Company also employs Sue Harrel, Debra Page & Sally Allen in our mobile office. All ladies are knowledgable and helpful to all those who attend our sales.
